I know I am not the only one when I say that Muhammad Ali was an absolute inspiration. Unfortunately, he passed away on June 3rd but he lived quite a glorious life!
Here are three of my favourite Muhammad Ali quotes that all of us must always keep in mind:
“Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.”
How many times have you felt that the other person is more talented than you and so it’s better for you to give up? Well, the champion himself says that the most important ingredient to success is not talent or skill, it is hard work, dedication and will-power.
“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’ “
Get through the tough times. They too shall pass. Keep a long-term perspective.
“Friendship is not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.”
Yes, success is important but remember that there is no point if you don’t have anybody share that success with. Love your friends and family and value and cherish them. Don’t let your work take over your whole entire life.
